MT 4319, Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man, and MT 4323, Loco-Motion!

This week's episode is about the M-Network games Masters of the Universe: The Power of He-Man, Loco-Motion, and Computer Corridor. Computer Corridor was in my list as Computer Revenge, which I didn't find in my initial research, but I happened upon it while I was doing the research for this show. Hence my adding it at the last minute. But it was never finished like Loco-Motion was, so you're not missing much. Extra special thanks to Jeff Ratcliff for answering my questions this week, thank you Jeff! Next week, Cosmic Ark and No Escape by Imagic. Upcoming games include Dodge 'Em and Missile Command by Atari; Space Cavern and Racquetball by Games by Apollo; Blueprint and Solar Fox by CBS Electronics; Stampede and Ice Hockey by Activision; and Othello and RealSports baseball by Atari. You can send your memories of these games and any Atari VCS/2600 memories to me at 2600gamebygame@comcast.net. I read everything on the show! Thanks everyone for downloading and listening, it makes me happy. :)

CX 2635, Maze Craze, and CX 2636, Video Checkers!

I have to apologize for this episode folks. I think my microphone is going bad, there was a hum that was pretty prevalent through the show and it made me very sad. I tried using the noise reduction on it 3 times but it's still there. It sticks out like a sore thumb to me, maybe you won't hear it as much as I do. Hopefully. I'm not very happy with this but there's nothing I can do until I get a new microphone, which is on its way. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Next week I'll be looking at He-Man and the Locomotion prototype by M-Network. I played He-Man a bit today and I am finding it very frustrating. I will do better as the week goes on, I think. Upcoming games include Cosmic Arp (heh) and No Escape by Imagic, Dodge 'Em and Missile Command by Atari, Racquetball and Space cavern by Games by Apollo, Blueprint and Solar Fox by CBS Electronics, and Ice Hockey and Stampede by Activision. Send your stories and memories to 2600gamebygame@comcast.net. Thank you guys for your patience and for listening!

2455, Turbo, and 2457, Venture!

I have a schedule for the podcast set up, so I am hoping that the whole process will be streamlined and easier for me to do. This week's episode is going out much earlier than normal, but I did have an extra day off so who knows. This is the first time I am doing a review of a game that I wasn't able to play, being Turbo. There may be more numbered protos coming up that haven't been discovered yet, we shall see. Next week is Video Checkers and Maze Craze by Atari, which should be fun. Upcoming games include He- Man and Loco-motion by M-Network, Cosmic Ark and No Escape! by Imagic, Missile Command and Dodge 'Em by Atari, Space Cavern and Racquetball by Games by Apollo, and Blueprint and Solar Fox by CBS Electronics. Please send your stories and memories to 2600gamebygame@comcast.net. Thanks for listening everyone!

99001, Spike's Peak, & 99002, Ghost Manor!

Happy New Year Everyone! Unfortunately I am still on the old year's procrastination schedule. It has been really hard getting back into this, it felt like I had to learn it all over again. Lots of awkward silences to edit out. I hope this episode measures up to my usual standards. Next week I'll be talking about Turbo and Venture by Coleco, which I remember playing a lot in the arcades, but not so much at home. Especially Turbo, since I did not have a Colecovision. Upcoming games include Maze Craze and Video Checkers by Atari, He- Man and Loco-motion by M-Network, Cosmic Ark and No Escape! by Imagic, Missile Command and Dodge 'Em by Atari, and Space cavern and Racquetball by Games by Apollo. Send your stories for these games, and games I've already covered that you missed, or anything you'd like to share about your experience with the 2600 to 2600gamebygame@comcast.net. Your contributions really are the backbone of the show. Plus they make the show twice as long! I keed, I keed. Thanks to everyone for listening, have a great week!
